Structural Field Service Technician-OMS UAE-Dubai
• Proficient with written and spoken English • Good knowledge of basic structural elements and grades of materials • Ability to read fabrication and layout drawings • Good knowledge of applicable API Standards and welding codes • Excellent customer service skills and attitude • Excellent organization and follow-up skills • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to obtain entry visas for GCC, USA and East Asia To make field decisions associated with carrying out responsibilities for installation and repair • Stop an unsafe action – both yourself, and others on the worksite • Supervision of sub contracted personnel Education/Experience: • Background in installation, and repair of mast and derrick structures Physical Requirements: • Frequently bends, stoops, crouches, moves up and down stairs, steps or ladders and must work at heights of more than six feet • Frequently travels 12 + hours by air • Frequently works remote offshore and desert environments with exposure to harsh temperatures ranging from -30°F to 130°F • Frequently works 12+ hours per day.
