Director of Inventory Control-Burlington NJ- Burlington Coat Factory
<li>Developing stock ledger maintenance and control policies and procedures. Ensure that policies are in accordance with internal accounting practices and GAAP.
</li><li>Ensuring completeness and accuracy of inventory transactions for stores, warehouses and fulfillment operations (includes sales, markdowns, transfers, claims, receipts, shipments, and adjustments)
</li><li>Coordinating timing, execution and reporting of physical inventory as required.
</li><li>Developing and maintaining partner relationships with business units and corporate stakeholders (IT, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)
</li><li>Developing and directing process improvement initiatives for functional responsibilities.
</li><li>Hiring and developing staff and managers for functional areas.
</li><li>Developing and maintaining appropriate monitoring controls over process within functional area. Escalating and resolving issues proactively.
</li><li>Working with senior store management, sales managers and the central organization to identify and reconcile inventory shortage issues.
</li><li>Analyzes inventory results and financial information to identify shortage issues by merchandise division, department, vendor and item.
</li><li>Implement and maintain warehouse management system (WMS) including technical problem resolution</li>
