Principal Research Scientist-BCO - West Jefferson, OH-Battelle
• Serve as Study Director to design, execute, and oversight studies involving pathogenic microorganisms in animal model systems in a BSL-3 containment laboratory
• Develop Proposals, SOPs, Forms, Methods, Procedures, Protocols, Reports
• Review, analyze, and interpret data generated using animal studies
• Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
• Present seminars and presentations to clients
• Prepare abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for scientific meetings and publications
• Interact with clients regarding work performed
• Design, implement, and validate new microbiological and immunological assays
• Train and oversight research technicians in new techniques and methods
